Call and you’re told to go to Surrey.ca. Unfortunate you can spend a minute to update so that people know your closed for several weeks. Uncool. At least I know why the parking lot is pretty empty

Awesome pool, sauna and hot tub and gym. Only drawback are the hours. Shorter hours than other pools. Recieves full funding from City of Surrey, yet only open part time. They say due to shortage of life guards. Yet life guards say they can't get enough hours. So, something doesn't add up. Sad, since due to population explosion in South Surrey, it would benefit the community to have this pool open the regular full time pool hours. They close at noon. Then staff rush you out. No chance to dry your hair! That's why it only got 4 stars.

Nice little pool with great instructors for the children. It may not have the features of newer facilities like a lazy river or giant waterslides, but there are enough activities here with 2 saunas, small tot pool, medium pool with swimming lanes and a deeper side with rope swing and diving boards. And the staff here are very helpful and friendly.

I’m only going to give 2 stars because the pool and gym still have not fully opened to pre pandemic hours. This pool used to open 7 days a week and with way more hours and it was an awesome community pool!
There were more programs offered for the whole community. Let’s bring them back locally. Who do we have to speak to get it open? Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke? C’mon open it up again fully. Do we need a petition?

Nicest life guards ever! Yes, its' older and could maybe do with renovations but we always have the option of grandview if you want something newer. I don't want anyone to feel left out, but a few life gaurds who've gone above and beyond with their friendliness are Aiden, Rachel and Lucas! such warm, personable life gaurds who are always attentive but also friendly! Highly recommend.

Wow the person who said the elderly people here exhibit racist attitudes... give us all a break. They have probably been going to the pool since before you were born and well before your family was even brought to Canada. Throwing those slurs around at the elderly people in our community is not appreciated. Because they look at people you want to interpret that as racist or weird. It's common to people watch. What are you supposed to do when you are sitting in the hot tub by yourself? Look at your feet the whole 20 minutes? Some people sit in the shallow pool or hot tub because they have muscle issues. Wow some comment below. Anyway, I have been going to the South Surrey Pool for decades. It's always been a wonderful and special institution in our wonderful community. The town has been changed against our will sadly, and unjustly, but we still have places like this that make you feel at home.

Very nice pool, wonderful staff, however why are the opening hours limited.

Two Saunas? They could do better to convert one to a Steam Bath

One fails to comprehend the logic behind keeping the Recreation Center closed between 12 and 3 pm.

Some one in City of Surrey has applied sense to this practice to suit his/her convenience.

Uncooperative and unsupportive staff.
ACTUALLY ZERO STARS.

Today, 17 Jan 2024. I reached the pool at 10.45 am and was not allowed to swim. Reason, they just put up a board saying "Facility closed due to Weather conditions".
There were people swimming inside already. I made a request saying in any case you would close by 12 noon and I have come all the way, but was turned down... Real Bummer.

When I asked her when did they decide to close the facility, I was told about half an hour ago.

Such behaviour is not expected.
