We had our wedding at WaWa on New Year’s Eve, and the team there was amazing! Leading up to the wedding (we had booked two years in advance) if we had any questions Mary Anne was very quick to respond and never left us wondering. The crew that was working the night of our wedding were so much fun and helped pull off a very successful night, a few people we talked to afterwards even commented on how awesome the venue and staff were.

We had a great experience hosting our wedding reception at WA WA Shriners in July 2024. Leading up to the wedding, Mary Anne was quick to respond to questions and offer advice. The space fit our 150 guests perfectly. During the reception, the staff were friendly and helpful. After the event, the staff put the tables and chairs away, so cleanup the next day is easy. Would recommend!

We had our wedding at Shriners and could not recommend enough. Mary Ann is amazing and very responsive. Norm was quick to help us with the audio changes we requested and Dani was amazing behind the bar. They make your night so easy and take care of everything - alcohol sales/bartending, they’ll pack up your food and bring out the midnight lunch, they help gather your decor at the end of the night. I can’t say enough good things about this venue. Yes, there are stairs, but they have a stair climber that my 93 year old grandmother had no issues using and the staff were very helpful in getting her into the building. To everyone at the Shriners- thank you!!

What a great organization that does so much for children in Saskatchewan in the Montreal hospital, and other hospitals throughout North America.

I have hosted several events at this location both upstairs and downstairs. The staff is excellent. The service is great even though they do not have an elevator they have a special accessibility device that allows people in wheelchairs to access the building.

We just had our wedding at the WAWA Shriners Hall, mostly because my sister had her wedding there many years ago and it was great. It was so wonderful. Mary Ann, Terry and all their crew are FABULOUS. They were so excellent to work with. Everything is straightforward and organized. They made planning this wedding so easy. On the day of the set up everything was already organized and ready to go. They worked with our day-of planners to transition the space from ceremony to reception and it was FLAWLESS. The staff also did the tear down with the planners so all we needed to do the next day was load up boxes. I will never have an event anyplace else. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, super helpful and lovely. The space is charming, vintage, and is so excellent for a party! THANK YOU SHRINERS we had THE BEST day.

I had my wedding at the Shriner's centre in July of 2022. The staff there made the day an absolute dream. They were very knowledgeable and experienced with events. The fact that they were able to take down after the wedding as well was an absolute life saver. Would 100% recommend for a wedding or any other event!

Big hall space for any event. Also have a basement for arranging some feast after the event. Only thing is, one needs to use stairs to go up and down. So not efficient for people who have trouble with stairs. Otherwise, good-sized hall and arrangements are possible.

The thing I like about this facility is you can rent it cheap and host functions very frugally. Yeah, the building is a bit older, yeah there are pillars that make it challenging to see the podium for a speaker, and the sound system can be a finicky - but this is a place smack dab in the middle of downtown Regina that you can rent economically and then utilize that money (which would have been spent needlessly on an extravagant room) on something that actually matters....your wedding reception, your staff, your anniversary party, your kids grad - whatever you so choose.
